I have lived in the midst of Istanbul for over ten years. I came from England, on a whim, and I’m still here.
Turkey has changed so much since 1999, and not always for the better. Turkey is trying very hard and wants to be loved, but at the same time is so aloof and independent. Perhaps it’s just the European and Asian personalities vying for attention.
Some things make me crazy, so I write about them. Occasionally, there are very positive and amazing things to report too!
